Photo Documentary Project
At the Sure-Fit Factory
The Photo Documentary Project is an eight week interactive class where students will learn the techniques of documentary photography and use that knowledge to work collaboratively on a book project.
Class time will cover camera techniques, project development, how to interact with subjects, project narrative, working with short run printers, and how to market your personal projects. Students will also be lead on several shooting field trips. Students will also be expected to work independently outside of class time on the class project.
A camera and lens is required. Students please bring a journal or notebook to class.
Class size is limited.
Class is Thursdays, 6:00-900
Cost is $300. Class price includes printed book.
Book Launch is September 14th.

Hey Dude,
Haven’t seen you in a bit. I’d love to attend your classes but have to see how my fractured finances go. I’m still taking pictures. got a table at Art Walk. I went to Hawaii to see my son and actually stood on the summit of Mauna Kea – 14,822 feet. That’s higher than I usually fly in my plane. Of course, I took pictures there too.
